President

Nick Richardson is the Founder, Owner, and President of kW Efficiency, which he established in 2008. Shortly after graduating from college, Nick launched his first startup — an entrepreneurial venture that ultimately evolved into the founding of kW Efficiency. Since then, he has grown the company into a respected energy services contractor operating nationwide, with a strong concentration in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets.

As President, Nick is responsible for setting the strategic vision and overall direction of the company. He oversees team leadership, operational performance, and long-term business development while ensuring the organization remains aligned with its core values and commitment to measurable energy savings.

Nick has built long-standing working relationships with regional utilities including Pepco, Potomac Edison, Dominion Energy, and Baltimore Gas and Electric. Through years of collaboration, he has become a recognized rebate specialist — uniquely capable of navigating complex incentive programs while also understanding the realities of field execution. His hands-on knowledge of both project implementation and rebate processing allows kW Efficiency to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions for its clients.

Under Nick’s leadership, the company has demonstrated consistent year-over-year growth, achieving its strongest performance to date in 2025. He remains focused on expanding the company’s impact, strengthening utility partnerships, and maintaining a culture built on accountability, precision, and results.

Roushan Rice

Accounting

As an accomplished staff accountant with over 15 years of expertise in servicing diverse small businesses, Roushan Rice has honed her skills in tax management, accounting strategies, and overseeing the accuracy and management of the purchasing of materials, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll functions. She is a licensed tax preparer, IRS ERO with a registered EFIN and PTIN, and has earned the credentials to be a longstanding member of the Maryland Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals. She completed the QuickBooks certification through the “QuickBooks Pro” level, which will be of asset to Roushan's current focus on optimizing accounting practices within the context of a commercial LED Lighting Retrofit contractor. The application of her wealth of experience to ensure financial efficiency and compliance ultimately contributes to the company's success and growth.


Travis M Dyer

Rebate Specialist

With over 20 years of project management experience and a specialized focus in Commercial LED Lighting retrofit projects, Travis brings deep technical expertise and unmatched knowledge of regional utility rebate programs. He works extensively with the small business incentive programs offered by Potomac Edison, Pepco, Dominion Energy, and Baltimore Gas and Electric.

Travis is highly familiar with each program’s structure, eligibility requirements, prescriptive and custom incentive models, and documentation standards. His expertise allows clients to confidently navigate rebate guidelines while maximizing available incentives. From initial site evaluation and savings calculations to application submission, utility coordination, and final inspection, he ensures the entire rebate process moves smoothly and efficiently.

Known for his attention to detail and strong working relationships with utility program administrators, Travis helps businesses secure the highest possible rebates while maintaining strict compliance with program requirements. His ability to bridge technical field execution with administrative precision ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and optimized for maximum return on investment.

Her strategic mindset and hands-on leadership helped drive sustainable growth, strengthen brand positioning, and increase revenue across multiple sectors.

Known for her consultative approach, Bailey takes the time to understand each client’s unique goals and challenges, developing tailored solutions that create long-term value. As an LED Lighting Specialist at KW Efficiency, Anthony brings a strategic, results-driven approach to commercial lighting projects—especially in the Potomac Edison service area.

With hands-on experience in energy-saving technologies, Anthony understands the challenges facility managers and business owners face with outdated or underperforming lighting systems. He works closely with clients across industries—including warehouses, offices, retail centers, churches, schools, and manufacturing facilities—to identify cost-effective lighting upgrades and deliver measurable energy savings.

Anthony is known for his consultative sales approach: he doesn’t just sell LED products; he provides complete lighting solutions backed by:

Dave has 21 years of experience in the lighting industry, 10 of those with kW Efficiency. Dave focuses on property management, national, and major accounts. Performs energy audits, proposal design, and after-sales support. Assist customers with leveraging utility rebates and other financial grants or loans as applicable.
